About Space Lift

Space Lift was founded in Launceston in 2006 by Deanne Cooper and Colin Kent, life partners who share a passion for property and who bring a wealth of experience in developing, renovating and selling properties. Our love of property has seen us undertake numerous property developments as well as major renovations to Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, 1950s, and 1970s homes. Many of these properties or renovations have been featured in books, magazines and national and local property features.

Space Lift is built upon the lessons Deanne and Colin have learnt over 25 years about the Power of Presentation.  Deanne’s early career as a florist taught her the art of arrangement and later as an in store merchandiser, an understanding of the importance of placement and buyer psychology. In the mid 1990, after more than 10 years successfully developing residential and multi-unit developments in Victoria, Deanne founded a successful period furnishings and decorative arts gallery.

This business again confirmed her belief that pieces would sell when you placed them in a setting that enabled the buyer to visualize them in their own home and want the same look. Through the gallery, Deanne regularly assisted Interior Designers in Melbourne to furnish unique homes and established a thriving hire service for movie set designers, photographers and vendors selling property.

In addition to years of experience House Stylist, Deanne Cooper also brings a unique creative talent to visualise spaces and identify affordable and practical solutions to property presentation.
